The body is a grotesque and beautiful form, at once pure and contaminated, real and artificial, an animal and a spiritual symbol. Shifting within its complex folds of abjection and wonder, I experience the world and create meaning. Unable to separate myself from my form, I embody its objectness. Chopped up, reconfigured and spliced together my body exhibits a complex and divided experience of being, subject and object eternally bound and yet distinct.
